Answer :

  • a : b : c = 48 : 56 : 63

Given:

  • A : B = 6 : 7

  • B : C = 8 : 9

To find :

  • Then A:B:C = ?

Step-by-step explanation :

We know that

a/b = 6/7 .... (i)

b/c = 8/9 .... (ii)

Taking L. C. M in both the cases of b,

7 and 8 are the two numbers of b,

7 = 1 x 7

8 = 2 x 2 x 2

The L. C. M of b is = 7x 2 x 2 x 2 = 56

Then, Equalize b by multiplying 8 in (i)

a/b = (6/7) x 8 = 48/56

And, Then equalize b by multiplying 7 in (ii)

b/c = (8/9) x 7 = 56/63

Then, form a, b, c in the ratio form :

That is, a : b : c = 48 : 56 : 63

Thus,

Value of a = 48

Value of b = 56

Value of c = 63.
