hey mate !!!

here is your answer !!

( a - b ) ² = a² + b² -2 * a * b

=> (7)² = a² + b² - 2 * 9

49 + 18 = a² + b²

a² + b² = 67

hence , your answer is 67

HELLO DEAR,

given that:-

ab = 9

a - b = 7

[On SQUARING both side]

we get,

(a - b)² = 7²

⇒a² + b² - 2ab = 49
∴ [ (a - b)² = a² + b² - 2ab , & 7² = 49]

⇒(a² + b²) = 49 + 2×9

⇒(a² + b²) = 49 + 18

⇒(a² + b²) = 67

I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,
THANKS
