• Given:- A+b=8 a*c=21 b-d=5 c*d=9

•To find:- The value of a b c d

• Solution:-

a+b=8....(1)

a×c=21 ....(2)

b-d=5 .....(3)

c×d=9.....(4)

equation 1 -3 we get ,

a+b-b+d=a+d=3....(5)

from 4, we have

d=9/c

now substituting in (5)

a+ 9/c=3

or, ac+9 =3c.....(6)

according to the (2)

we have ac=21

substituting in (6)

21+9=3c

or,3c=30

so,c=10

substituting in (2)

or,a x 10=21

so,a=2.1

now,substituting in (4)

we can write

10 x d=9

d=9/10=0.9

and now

from 1 we have,

2.1 + b=8

b=5.9

So,the final answer is

a=2.1

b=5.9

c=10

d=0.9
