by solving the equation we get

18a=15a+15b

3a=15b

a=5b

a-b=4b

a+b=6b

a-b/a+b=2/3

hey mate.
here's your answer. ..
given,
a+b=18
a=15
then,
we need to find a-b...
so,
a+b=18
"a" value is 15
so,
15+b=18
then,
b=3
now substitute both a and b values for required statement, (a-b)/(a+b)
a-b=15-3=12
so the answer is 12/18...
or2/3
