This cannot be true...

As a = 3 and b = 7 (they both are different variables and thus have different values).

Because e.g. 3 + 4 = 7 and 3 * 7 = 21

∴ This statement can never be true. This means, your question is wrong...

(Only is they both have a value of 2. Otherwise the statement is wrong... As 2*2 = 2+2)

This question so valid only for one answer -
a = 2
b = 2
2 + 2 = 2 × 2
4 = 4
