in ABC and ACD

AB=AD (given)

angle ABC=angle ADC (sides equal to each other have equal angles)

and, AC=AC (common line)

so, ABC is congruence to ACD by SAS rule

2. to prove that ACD is congruence to ADE

in ACD and ADE

AC=AE (given)

angle ACD=angle AED (sides equal to each other have equal angles)

and, AD=AD (common line)

so, ACD is congruence to ADE by SAS rule
