Answer:

A = 5 days

B = 15 Days

Step-by-step explanation:

a+b alternatively can do work in 7 days and b+a alternatively can dowork in 23/3 days.than find how many days a and b will take to complete works separately

Let say a's 1 day work = A

& b's 1 day work = B

a+b alternatively can do work in 7 days

=> a = 4 days  & b = 3 days

=>  4A  + 3B  = W

b+a alternatively can do work in 23/3

=> b = 4 days  &  a = 11/3 days

=> 4B + 11A/3 = W

Equating both

4A  + 3B  = 4B + 11A/3

=> A/3  = B

=> A = 3B

=> 4(3B) + 3B = W

=> 15B = W

=> B will take  15 days to complete the work

15(A/3) = W =. 5A = W

=> A will take  5 days to complete the work
