Answer:

16.2mm

Step-by-step explanation:

By pythagoras theorem:-

BC^{2} = AB^{2} + CA^{2}

BC^{2} = 13^{2} + 9.7^{2}

BC^{2} = 169 + 94.09

BC^{2} = 263.09

BC = \sqrt{263.09}

BC = 16.2mm

Answer- 16.2mm

Step-by-step explanation:

as per Pythagoras theorem

ab ^{2} +  ca ^{2}  = bc ^{2}

so,

 {13}^{2}  +  {9.7}^{2}  =  {bc}^{2}

169  + 94.1 =  {bc}^{2}

therefore,

263 .1=  {bc}^{2}

so,

bc = 16.2mm
