In here

we have

element A whose atomic no. is 2

according to periodic table A is Helium which belongs to the first period

element B whose atomic no. is 10

so according to periodic table B is neon which belongs to 2 Nd period and similarly element C whose atomic no. is 5 is boron which belongs to second period .

so , B and C belong to same group .

nancyyy: Cause answer is samr
Shrishi01: i think yes
nancyyy: It is correct:-)
Shrishi01: hmm
Shrishi01: ok bye thanks
nancyyy: But Is there any trick to see wheather the elements belong to same period?
Shrishi01: in period element are arranged in horizontally with increasing atomic no
nancyyy: Okay Thanks:-)
Shrishi01: and in group they arranged in vertically with same Valence electron in its last orbit
Shrishi01: hmm bye :-)
