a,b and c are partners in a firm sharing profits in the ratio of 3:2:1 . a died . his share of profits was taken by b and c equally​

B's share is gained by a and b , so lets say the ratio 3:2:1 ,when a died the ratio would become 2:1. but this was only half. if we add gain ratio as well we will get the new ratio.i.e 2+1/2 , 1+1/2
