Answer:

Given :

  • Old Share of Partners = \sf \: \frac{2}{8}, \frac{3}{8}, \frac{3}{8} \\

  • Admit D for ¼ th Share

To Find :

  • New Profit Sharing Ratio

Solution :

Old Share Of Partners =  \sf \:  \dfrac{2}{8},  \dfrac{3}{8},  \dfrac{3}{8}

 \\ \\ \sf \to Old \: Ratio \: = 2 : 3 : 3 \\ \\

\sf \to \: Share \: of \: D \: = \frac{1}{4} \\ \\

\to\sf \: Remaining \: Portion \: = 1 - \frac{1}{4} = \frac{3}{4} \\ \\

New Share Of A :

\sf \to \: Old \:Share\: of \: A \: = \frac{2}{8} \\ \\

\sf \to \: Old \: Share \: \times Remaining \: Portion \: \\ \\

\sf \to \: \frac{2}{8} \times \frac{3}{4} \\ \\

\sf \to \: \frac{6}{32} \\ \\

New Share Of B :

\sf \to \: Old \: Share \: of \: B \: = \frac{3}{8} \\ \\

\sf \to \: Old \: Share \: \times Remaining \: Portion \\ \\

\sf \to \: \frac{3}{8} \times \frac{3}{4} \\ \\

\to \sf \: \frac{9}{32} \\ \\

New Share Of C :

\sf \to \: Old \: share \: of \: B \: = \frac{3}{8} \\ \\

\sf \to \: Old \: Share \: \times Remaining \: Portion \\ \\

\sf \to \: \frac{3}{8} \times \frac{3}{4} \\ \\

\sf \to \: \frac{9}{32} \\ \\

New Share Of D :

\sf \to \: Share \: of \: D\: = \frac{1}{4} \\ \\

\sf \to \: \frac{1 \times 8}{4 \times 8} = \frac{8}{32} \\ \\

\sf \to \: \frac{8}{32} \\ \\

\sf\bull \: \: \frac{6}{32} : \frac{9}{32} : \frac{9}{32} : \frac{8}{32} \\ \\

 \bf \bull \: \: 6 : 9 : 9 : 8 \\ \\

\therefore \sf New \: Ratio \: of \: Partners \: = 6 : 9 : 9 : 8 \\ \\
