Given : A,B and C are three points in a plane. such that  D(AB)=5,D(Bc)=2,D(Ac)=3

To find :  a circle is passing through the points A,B and C or not

Solution:

AB = 5

BC = 2

AC = 3

2 + 3 = 5

BC + AC =  AB

Hence C lies between A & B

and A, B & C are co-linear points

A circle can not pass through 3 colinear points

Hence   a circle is not passing through the points A,B and C
