The value of "A" is 24000.

Explanation:

There are 3 quantities A, B and C that are given in the above question that are connected to each other by an expression.

  • where A and B are varying quantities such that B is proportional to A directly with C as constant and A is proportional to C with B as constant.

We are given that the value of A =6000

When the value of B is 20 and C is 30. A= kBC ⇒ k =\frac{A}{BC}

\frac{6000}{(20 \times 30)} = 10

k= 10

Now if B=40 and C=60 then value of A will be

kBC= 10 \times 40 \times 60 =24000

Hence the value of A will be 24000.
