Hey friend  , Harish here.

Here is your answer.

Given that :

A can do a work in 24 days

B can do a work in 6 days.  &

C can do a work in 12 days.

To Find :

No. of days taken to complete the same work together.

Solution :

A's one day work  =  1 / 24

B's one day work  =  1 / 6

C's one day work  =  1 / 12

So together if they work their one day work is :

\mathrm{A + B + C = \frac{1}{24} + \frac{1}{6} + \frac{1}{12}} = \frac{1+4+2}{24} = \frac{7}{24}

So in 1 day the together complete 7/24 of the work.

By unitary method :

The total number of days taken to complete the whole work = 24/7 days

[ 1 day = 7/24 work ;  x days = 1 work. ∴ x = 24/7 days ]

Answer:

7/24 (or) 3+3/7 days

Step-by-step explanation:

A one day work : 1/24

B one day work : 1/6

C one day work : 1/12

A+B+C = 1/24+1/6+1/12

= 24/24+24/6+24/12

= 1+4+2/24

= 7/24 (or) 3+3/7
