A, B and C can complete a piece of work in 24,8 and 16 days respectively
so, A can complete a work in 24 days
A 's one day work = 1/24
so, B can complete a work in 8 days
B's one day work = 1/8
so, C can complete a work in 16 days
C 's one day work = 1/16
so, A, B and C (work together) one day work
= 1/24 + 1/8 + 1/16
= 1/8(1/3 + 1 + 1/2)
= 1/8((2+3+6)/6)
= 1/8(11/6)
= 11/48
so, no of days A, B and C whole work = 48/11 days = 4(4/11) days
so, A can complete a work in 24 days
A 's one day work = 1/24
so, B can complete a work in 8 days
B's one day work = 1/8
so, C can complete a work in 16 days
C 's one day work = 1/16
so, A, B and C (work together) one day work
= 1/24 + 1/8 + 1/16
