A,B and C can cultivate a field in 10,12and15 days respectively. If they work together, in how many days will they finish the work and what fraction of the work will each of them do

Given,

'A' can cultivated a field in 10 days.

Therefore,'A' can finish work in 1 day is = 1/10th part.

'B' can cultivated a field in 12 days.

Therefore,'B' can finish work in 1 day is = 1/12th part

'C' can cultivated a field in 15 days.

Therefore,'C' can finish work in 1 day is = 1/15th part

To Find,

How many days needed to do work when they whole work together.

Solution,

Therefore,

                ==> 1/10 + 1/12 + 1/15

                ==>  6 + 5 + 4/60

                ==>  15/60

                ==> 1/4

                ==> 4 days

  • NOW WE WANT TO FIND THAT WHAT  THE FRACTION OF THE WORK  WILL EACH OF THEM DONE:

Therefore,                                    

                  ==> 'A' = 4 * 1/10                  

                  ==> 'A' = 2 * 1/5

                  ==> 'A' = 2/5 DAYS

Therefore,

                  ==> 'B' = 4 * 1/12

                  ==>' B' = 1 * 1/3

                  ==> ' B' = 1/3 DAYS

Therefore,

                  ==> 'C' = 4 * 1/15

                  ==> 'C' = 4/15 DAYS
