A ,B and C can do given piece of work=10

so,they can do 1/10 parts of work.

A alone can do same work =40

So, A can do 1/40 parts of work.

B alone can do same work =30

so,B can do 1/30 parts of work.

Let C alone do same work be x

so,C can do 1/x parts of work.

According to question:-

==> 1/10=A + B +C

putting the all value

Now,

1/10=1/40+1/30+1/x

1/10=7/120+1/x

1/10 - 7/120 =1/x

5/120=1/x

1/24=1/x

therefore C can do 1/24 Parts of work.

Answer is 24 days .
