Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

A can do work in 5 days

⇒ A can do 1/5 th work in one day

B can do work in 8 days

⇒ B can do 1/8th work in one day

C can do work in 12 days

⇒ C can do 1/12th work in one day

A + B + C work in one day = 1/5 + 1/8 + 1/12

                       ( LCM of 5,8 and 12 is 120 )

                  = 24 / 120 + 15 / 120 + 10 / 120

                  =( 24 + 15 + 10) / 120

                    = 49 / 120

A + B + C can finish work in 120/49 days

Step-by-step explanation:

A in 5 days ,

A's one days work = 1/5

B in 8 days

B's one days work = 1/8

C in 12 days .

c's one days work= 1/12

A, B, C 's one days work= 1/5+1/8+1/12

= (24+15+10)/120=49/120

time taken to complete the work if they work together?= 120/49 days 2 22/49 days

2 \frac{22}{49} days
