A , B and C can do a piece of work in 20,24 and 30 days respectively . they started the work together, but B left after 4 days. in how many days will the remaining work be completed by A and C ?

Given data in question are,

A's 1 days work =\frac{1}{20}

B's 1 days work=\frac{1}{24}

C's 1 days work=\frac{1}{30}

A , B and C's  1 day work is \frac{1}{20} +\frac{1}{24}+\frac{1}{30}=\frac{6+5+4}{120}=\frac{1}{8}

B left after 4 days means \frac{1}{20} work is done so, remaining work done by A and B is \frac{100}{8} =\frac{25}{2} days

Therefore, A and B completed remaining work in \frac{25}{2}v days.
