Answer:

A+B+C's one day work=I/3+1/6+1/9

= 6/18+3/18+2/18=11 / 18

If they work together. They will finish 18/11=1 7/11 days

Step-by-step explanation:

time taken by a to complete the work =3 days

time taken by b to complete the work =6 days

time taken by c to complete the work =9 days

therefore..

one days work of a = 1/3

one days work of b =1/6

one days work of c = 1/9

therefore..

work done together =

one days work of a + one days work of b + one days work of c

= 1/3+1/6+1/9 ( LCM=18)

=11/18

therefore ..time taken to complete the work =

1÷1days work of a,b and c

=1÷11/18

=1×18÷11 (reciprocal)

=1×7/11 ( mixed fraction where 1 is the whole number ,7 is the numerator and 11 is the denominator)

ANS = 1×7/11 days will be required by a,b and c to complete the work together.
