Answer:

C 27 DAYS

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the efficiency of A be 1 unit

Total work = 48 x 1 = 48 units

Working alternatively,

Time for which A work in  days = days

Work done by A =  units

Time for which B work = 6 days

Work done by B = 48 -  =  units

Efficiency of B = 128/18 units per day

Time taken by B to finish 4 times the work = 192/(128/18) = 27 days

Answer:

The correct answer is option B

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the efficiency of A be 1 unit

Total work = 38 x 1 = 38 units

Working alternatively,

Time for which A work in  days = days

Work done by A =  units

Time for which B work = 2 days

Work done by B = 38 -  =  units

Efficiency of B = 128/18 units per day

Time taken by B to finish 4 times the work = 192/(128/18) = 30 days
