A ,B,and C contributed 25,000 ,50,000 , 75,000 respectively in a business and their share of the profits are proportional to the capital they contributed. If the profits are 48,000, what is share of each of them?

ratio of contributions=A:B:C :: 25000:50000:75000

percentages of contributions:

A=25000/150000×100 = 16.66% or50/3    B=50000/150000×100=33.33%or100/3

C=75000/150000×100=50%

the total profit = 48000

distribution of profits :

A= 16.66% 0f 48000 = 1/6×48000 = 8000

B= 33.33% 0f 48000 = 1/3×48000 = 16000

C= 50% 0f 48000 = 1/2×48000= 24000
