Answer:

Lets first assume the total amount of money. It can be calculated by taking the LCM of 2,3 and 4. that is 12.

So, lets assume the total amount to be Rs 1200.

So , A's investment share = Rs 600

B's investment share = Rs 400

C's investment share = Rs 300

So, A invested Rs 600 only for two months and withdraws half amount after these 2 months. So, he invested Rs 300 for 10 months.

So, A's yearly contribution = Rs 600 *2 + 300 * 10 = Rs 4200

B's yearly contribution = Rs 400 * 12 = RS 4800

C's yearly contribution = Rs 300 * 12 = Rs 3600

Now share in profit will be in the ratio of contribution.

So, share in profit is 4200:4800:3600

that is, 42:48:36

that is 21:24:18

that is 7:8:6

Now , shares are 7+8+6 = 21 is the total profit

But profit is Rs 378

So, 21 corresponds to 378

therefore, 1 corresponds to 18.

Therefore, B's share , 8 corresponds to 8 * 18 = 144

Therefore, the answer is Rs 144.
