Step-by-step explanation:

Monthly Rent=(13824/12)Rs=1152 Rs.

Rent for 4 months=(1152×4)Rs=4608 Rs.

Share of A, B, C=(4608/3)Rs =1536 Rs.

Rent for after 5 months =(1152×5)Rs =5760 Rs.

It is to divided equally between A &B.

Share of A & B=(5760/2) Rs =2880 Rs.

Rent for Last 3 months =(1152×3) Rs = 3456 Rs.

So, total rent paid by A = (1536+2880+3456) Rs =7872 Rs.
