Total number of cars parked by A B & C are : 10 + 12 +18 = 40

Number of days for which A B & C parked their cars : 10 + 10 +20 = 40 days

Total rent = 580

So A B & C paid 580 for 40 days to park 40 cars

Thus for one day,

A B & C paid 580/40 to park 40 cars =Rs. 14.5

For a day to park 40 vehicles it takes Rs. 14.5

For 1 vehicle it takes : 14.5/ 40 = 0.3625

B had 12 cars so it will take 12 x 0.3625 = Rs 4.35 for a day

For 10 days B had to give : 4.35 x 10 = Rs 43.5

Rent paid by B is: 43.5
