Simplify : (a + b + c)2 - (...

ANSWER

Apply the formula  a2−b2=(a+b)(a−b)  to simplify the given expression.

(a+b+c)2−(a−b+c)2

=(a+b+c+a−b+c){a+b+c−(a−b+c)}

=(2a+2c)(a+b+c−a+b−c)

=(2a+2c)(2b)

=4ab+4bc
