The above law is know as distributive law.

This law can be proved by replacing numbers at the variable places. For example

let

A = 1

B = 2

C = 3

So,

replacing values in LHS

1×(2-3)

= 1 × (-1)

= -1

now replacing values in RHS

(1×2)-(1×3)

= 2-3

= -1

So LHS = RHS
