whole so the bill is 1


A paid = 1/2

B paid = 1/5

C,D,E paid equal

amounts.Let it be 'x'

Total amount fraction = 1

So A + B + C + D + E = 1/2 + 1/5 + x + x + x = 1

(5 + 2)/10 + 3x = 1

7/10 + 3x = 1

7/10 + 3x = 1

3x = 1 - 7/10

3x = 3/10

x = 1/10

So required fraction of bill paid by C,D,E each is 1/10
