A, B, C, D are four collinear points such that AB > AC, AC > DC, then prove that D, C are interior points of AB​

Given: ABCD are four collinear points

Now AB > AC

⇒C lies in the interior of AB        ...... (1)

also AC > DC

⇒ D lies in the interior of AC

⇒ D lies in the interior of AB  (from (1))      ....... (2)

Hence from (1) and (2) we can conclude that D and C are interior points of AB.
