Hey there!
We know that, Commutative property under multiplication is application of all sets of Numbers.
Hence, a × b = c
then b * a = a * b = c.
We have just used the Commutative property here.
Commutative property under multiplication for any set : Let a, b be two numbers of any set then if a * b = b * a ,for every ( a, b) of the set then set is said to be commutative under multiplication.
Some examples to understand better :
1 ) 3 * 6 = 18
6 * 3 = 18
2) 5 * 8 = 40
8 * 5 = 40
3 ) 9 * 4 = 36
4 * 9 = 36 .
Hope helped! :)
