a=b then ab is equal to b square.then ab minus a square is equal to b square minus a square.then take common a in right side so a(b-a)=(b+a)(b-a).then a(b-a)/(b-a)=b+a.then a= b+a.acoording to a=b then a=a+a then a=2a.then cut a both side.it proves 1=2.So correct the error?

No , in mathematics we cannot divide numbers by zero. And here b-a equal to zero.Hence the error comes.

If dividing numbers by zero is accepted then all the numbers are equal to one another.

Eg. 4=5

4/0=5/0

0=0

Hence 4=5 , but 4 =|= 5.
