Step by step explaination:

We have to prove the following identity:

(a+b)³ = a³ + b³ + 3ab(a+b)

we are considering LHS to get RHS , so that this identity can be proved.

we can write,

(a+b)³=(a+b)×(a+b)×(a+b)

now , we will solve it

=(a+b)×(a+b)×(a+b)

by multiplying any two brackets

=(a²+b²+2ab)(a+b)

by multiplying these brackets with each other

= a³ + b³ + a²b + b²a + 2a²b + 2b²a

= a³ + b³ + 3a²b + 3b²a

= a³ + b³ + 3 (a²b + b²a)

= a³ + b³ + 3ab(a+b)
