so, 730×12= 8760 litre

According to ques elephants drink,
Let it drink xlitre milk in 365×2 (1yr = 365 days)

1 day - 12 litres
365×2 days - x litres

Cross multiplying the above we get,

x = 365×2×12

x = 8760litres
