A bag contain 25 paise and 50 paise coin whose total value is 30 rupees .if the no .of 25 paise is 4 times that of 50paise coin find the no of each type of coin​

Solution:-

Total amount in the bag = ₹30 = 3000 paise

Let the number of 50 paise coins be = x

Then the number of 25 paise coins = 4x

Now, according to the question

25 (4x) + 50x = 3000

100x + 50x = 3000

150x = 3000

x = 3000/150

x = 20

4x = 80

Therefore, number of 50 paise coins = 20

Number of 25 paise coins = 80
