Answer:

Total amount = 1600 rupees

10 rupees notes = 2x

20 rupees notes = 3x

10(2x) +20( 3x) = 1600

80x = 1600

X = 1600/80

X=20

Therfore,

10 rupees notes = 2 x 20

= 40

20 rupees notes = 3 x 20

= 60

Verification :

1600 = 40 x 10 + 60 x 20

1600 = 400 +1200

1600 = 1600

Answer:

LET THE RATIO TO BE X.

THEN WE GET 2X AND 3X.

A/Q-(2X×10)+(3X×20)=1600

-> 20X+60X=1600

80X=1600

X=1600/80

->X=20

NOW 20X= 400AND 60X=1200.

NO OF 10 RUPEE NOTES= 400/10=40 & NO OF 20 RUPEE NOTE =1200/20=60.ANS
