The respective ratios are as follows :

1 rupee : 50 paise is :

2 : 5

50 paise : 10 paise is :

4 : 9

50 paise is common in both and thus we can ensure that they are equal in both cases.

We multiply the first ratio by 4 and the second ratio by 5

We will have :

8 : 20 for the first case and 20 : 45 for the second case.

The joint ratio for the three is :

8 : 20 : 45

That is ; 1 rupee coins : 50 paise coins : 10 paise coins

The sum of the ratios is :

8 + 20 + 45 = 73

The number of 50 paise coins is :

20/73 × 1125 = 308 16/73

Since a coin cannot be a fraction the number is 308 coins.
