Question :

Solution :

Let the common multiplier be x.

So we have

x coins of 1 rupee. i.e amount = x

2x coins of 2 rupee i.e amount = 2x

5x coins of 5 rupee i.e. amount = 5x

Total amount = 540

x + 2x + 5x = 540

8x = 540
