FINAL ANSWER:-

5 rupee coins costs = ₹362.5

GIVEN:-

  • bag contains 1 rupee coins, 2 rupee coins and 5 rupee coins
  • total amount of the money from coins is ₹540
  • the ratio of 1:2:5

TO FIND:-

cost of each coins

SOLUTION:-

let the 1 rupee be x

2 rupee coins be 2x

5 rupee coins  be 5x

the total amount of coins in money = ₹540

x+2x+5x=540\\8x=540\\x=\frac{540}{8}\\x=\frac{145}{2}\\\\

1 rupee  coins costs = ₹67.5

2 rupee  coins costs = ₹135

5 rupee  coins costs = ₹362.5
