Hey there !

Solution:

Total Number of Balls in the bag = 10 + 16 + 8 = 34 balls

=> Sample Space = 34 balls.

1 ) Probability not being a red ball:

=> Possible events = 16 white balls + 8 green balls

=> Possible Events = 24

=> Probability = 24 / 34 = 12 / 17

b ) Neither Red nor Green:

=> Possible Events = 16 white balls

=> Probability = 16 / 34 = 8 / 17

c ) White or Green :

Possible Events = 16 white + 8 green balls = 24 balls

=> Probability = 24 / 34 = 12 / 17

Hence these are the solutions.

Hope my answer helped !

io<b><i>HELLO THERE!!

TOTAL BALLS:- 10 RED+16 WHITES+8GREENS = 34 BALLS

As you said a ball is drawn out of the bag at RANDOM . what is the probability that the drawn will be :-

1 . NOT RED:-

So now total balls =34
balls which are not red= 24

As we know probability = total possibilities ÷ total numbers
so probability of not red ball =24/34=\boxed{12/17}

2. NEITHER RED NOR GREEN :-

It means the ball can be the colour of white .
so now total balls =34

White balls= 16

So probability of white ball= 16/34=\boxed{8/17}

3.WHITE OR GREEN:-

Means the ball can be white or green but not red
So here no. of possibilities are 16+8=24

and the total balls =34

So probability of coming white or green ball =24/34=\boxed{12/17}
