total no. of balls is ( 10+6)

16

i.e., Total no. of outcomes = 16

here,

probability of getting black ball

so no. of black ball = 6

favourable outcomes = 6

formula is

p[e] = Total no. of outcomes ÷ favourable outcomes

= 16 ÷ 6 ( 16 upon 6)

so,

after dividing by 2

you get

=8/3

is the answer

total no. of balls =10+6=16

now,

no. of favourable outcomes of black ball = 6

then,

p(getting a black ball)=6/16=3/8

therefore, the probability of getting a black ball is 3/8
