Total no.of cards = 15
Probability of an event = No. of favourable outcomes / Total no.of outcomes
(a) For a prime number ::
Sample space = { 2,3,5,7,11,13 }
No. of prime numbers = 6
P ( getting a prime number) = 6 / 15 = 2/5
(b) For a number divisible by 2 ::
Sample space = { 2,4,6,8,10,12,14 }
No. of numbers divisible by 2 = 7
P ( getting a number divisible by 2} = 7 / 15.
Hope this helps you !!
