Answer:

Total no. of sweets = 10

P (E) = No. of favourable outcomes/ no. of possible outcomes.

(A) P(sweet taken out is a chew) = no. of chew/ no. of total sweets

= 5/10

= 1/2

(B) P (sweet taken out is a toffee) = no. of toffee/no. of total sweets

= 3/10

(C) P ( sweet taken out is a chocolate) = no.of chocolate/total no. of sweets

= 2/10

= 1/5
