Answer: 1/13

Step-by-step explanation:

First Marble :-

No. of Red Marbles = 2

No. of Blue Marbles = 4

No. of Green Marbles = 7

Total No. of Marbles = 13 = N(S)

No. of favourable outcomes = 4

Probability of Event = \frac{No. of favourable outcomes}{Total no. of outcomes}

therefore,

P(E)=\frac{N(E)}{N(S)}

P(E) = 4/13

Second Marble :-

No. Favourable outcomes = N(E)' = N(E)-1 = 3

Total No. Of outcomes = N(S)' = N(S)-1 = 12

P(E)' = 3/12

Final Probability of drawing both marbles are Red :-

P(E)_{f}  = P(E)*P(E)'

= 4/13 x 3/12 = 1/13
