(2)=2/3

First assume no of red balls =x

Then, no of blue balls =3x

No of white balls=2x

Total no of balls =24

2x+3x+x=24

X=4

No of red balls =4

No of blue balls =12

No of white balls=8

(1)= probability of getting red balls=4/24=1/6

But we have to find probability of not getting red so we subtract it from 1

Hence, probability of not getting red ball=1-1/6=5/6

(2)= similarly, probability of getting white ball=8/24=1/3

Probability of not getting white ball=1-1/3=2/3
