Hi there!
Here's the answer:

•°•°•°•°•<><><<>><><>°•°•°•°•°•

Given, A Bag is having 25 cards Numbered from 1 - 25

Let S be Sample space
S= {1,2,3,4,5,6,……,25}

n(S) - No. of ways of drawing a card randomly from the bag.
n(S) = 25C1 = 25

• E1 be the Event that the drawn card has a number that is divisible by 3 or 5
E1= {3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24} U {5,10,15,20,25}
E1= { 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,5,10,20,25}
(15 is common, 8+5-1=> 12)

n(E1) - no. of Numbers in set 'E1'
n(E1)= 12

• E2 be the event that the drawn card has number which is a square number
E2= {1,4,9,16,25}

n(E2)= No. of Numbers in set 'E2'
n(E2)= 5

¶¶¶ Probability of occurrence of Event
= (Possible outcomes for Event)/(Total No. of outcomes)

•°•°•°•°•<><><<>><><>°•°•°•°•°•

(i) Probability of getting a card with no. divisible by 3 or 5 is given by

P1= n(E1) / n(S)
P1= 12/25

•°•°•°•°•<><><<>><><>°•°•°•°•°•
(ii) Probability of getting a square Number is given by

P2= n(E2) / n(S)
P2= 5/25= 1/5
