let x be no. of coins
1x*0.25+2x*0.1+3x*0.05=30
0.25x+0.2x+0.15x=30
0.6x=30
x= 50
the number of 5 paise coins are 3*50=150

Answer:

The number of 5 paise coins are 3(50)=150 coins

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that a bag contains 25 paise, 10 paise and 5 paise coins. The given coins are in ratio 1:2:3 respectively and total amount of money is Rs.30

we have to find the number of 5 paise coins.

Let x be the no. of coins

25 paise coins-x

10 paise coins-2x

5 paise coins-3x

Also given the total money Rs 30.

Total money=x(0.25)+2x(0.1)+3x(0.05)

30=0.25x+0.2x+0.15x

0.6x=30

x= 50

The number of 5 paise coins are 3(50)=150 coins
