a bag contains 25 paise and 50 paise coins and 1 rupee coin whose values are in ratio of 8:4:2 The total values of coins are 840. Then find the total number of coins

the coins are in the ratio of 8:4:2....

then total coins= 8+4+2=14

25p + 50p + 100p(as 1 ₹= 100p) = 14

25x+50x+100x= 14

175x= 14

x= 14/175 = 0.08

x=0.08

25x=25x0.08= 2 coins

similarly,

50x=4 coins

100x=8 coins
