answer:there are 80 coins of 25 paise and 20 coins of 50 paise .

Step-by-step explanation:

bag contains only 25 paise and 50 paise

let coins of 25 paise be x

and coins of 50 paise be y

according to the question,

25x +50y = 30*100 ( 30 rupees must be converted into paise i.e, 3000 paise)

this implies x+2y=120(on dividing by 25) .......................1

also ,x=4y putting this in 1 gives

4y +2y=120

6y= 120

y= 20and x =4*20=80

this means there are 80 coins of 25 paise and 20 coins of 50 paise .
