Total amount in the bag = Rs. 30=3000 paise

Let the number of 50 paise coins be x

Then the number of 25 paise coins =4x

Now, according to the question

25(4x)+50x=3000

100x+50x=3000

150x=3000

x=

x=20

4x=80

Therefore, number of 50 paise coins =20

Number of 25 paise coins =80
