total no. of red balls = 3
total no. of white balls = 3
total no. of green balls =3

hence,
total no. of outcomes = 9

a ) red = fav. outcomes / total no. of outcomes

= 3/9
= 1 /3


b ) not red = 6 / 9
= 2 /3

3 ) either red or white = 6 / 9

= 2 / 3
